About the Department

The department offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal problems, including scleroderma, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory myopathies and systemic vasculitis. The treatments of all kinds of rheumatology-related conditions are offered in this department including biologic medications that primarily affect the body’s musculoskeletal system — joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.

At Indiana, rheumatologists collaborate closely with physicians, Physiotherapists and other consultants depending on the nature of a patient’s rheumatologic disorder.
