5 year old boy with no contact history of COVID presented to us with fever, foul smelling, purulent nasal discharge from one nostril and breathlessness for 3 days . Parents of the baby refused foreign body history.Imagining of the nose confirmed the clinical suspension. Under general anesthesia, nasal endo-scopically removed the foreign body(Metallic foreign body-Battery) by ENT surgeon.Child was sent home after 3 hours with oral medication.High index of clinical suspicion and early diagnosis prevented deadly complications.
